  1. EXILES TO GLORY: 1 - A black ink and gray pencil drawing on an 11 x 14 size vellum paper. It appears on page 84 of, "Galaxy, Oct. 1977".

Science Fiction. Does it have any value, or is it all nonsense, a waste of time, not worth reading? Lots of people think so . . .

Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge because knowledge is limited, while imagination is limitless.
"Knowledge" will take you from point A to point B, " imagination" will take you everywhere".

Virtually everything we have today, the very way we live our lives, is the result of all the "imaginings" that men and women have had since the beginning of human history. "Imagination" shows us the possibilities, the pathways along which bits of knowledge lie hidden, to be discovered.

Einstein also said, "If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales". Yes, and may I suggest that somewhere along the way they start reading science fiction.
